That’s a powerful and honest reflection. What stands out is this, boundaries aren’t a lack of love, they’re often the only way to protect what God has entrusted to you. Even God set boundaries, not to reject, but to preserve and redeem. What you did wasn’t selfish, it was stewardship. And the fruit speaks for itself , 47 years of marriage didn’t happen by accident. Sometimes saying “no” is the most faithful “yes” we can give to God.
